Complaints Policy
Policy Statement:
Inner Psyche.co is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional service. We welcome feedback and take all complaints seriously.
A complaint may include:
- Dissatisfaction with a service or session
- Concerns about practitioner behaviour or boundaries
- Issues with booking, payment, or communication
- Breach of confidentiality or safeguarding concerns
Complaints will be acknowledged within 3 working days. A full response will be provided within 10 working days. If further investigation is needed, you will be informed of the timeline. All complaints are handled confidentially and respectfully.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation by Client:
1:1 Sessions
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled session will be refunded in full or rescheduled at no charge.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged the full session fee.
Rescheduling:
You may reschedule a 1:1 session up to 48 hours in advance via your confirmation email. A £10 admin fee shall apply to rebooking an alternative session.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours may be subject to availability and a £50% session fee.
Cancellation by Practitioner:
- If Inner Psyche.co must cancel or reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered:
- A full refund
- Priority rescheduling
- A credit toward future services
Compassion Clause: Inner Psyche.co recognises that life happens. If you are experiencing illness, distress, or an emergency, please reach out. We will do our best to accommodate you with flexibility and care.
Confidentiality Policy
Policy Statement:
Inner Psyche.co is committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality. All client information shared during sessions, events, or communications is treated with respect, discretion, and in accordance with UK data protection laws and ethical practice.
How Confidentiality Is Maintained:
- Session notes are stored securely on encrypted, password-protected devices
- Paper records (if any) are kept in locked storage
- Access is restricted to the practitioner only
- Online sessions are conducted via secure platforms (e.g. Zoom with encryption)
- Emails and messages are handled with care and not shared with third parties
Exceptions to Confidentiality:
Confidentiality may be breached only under the following circumstances:
- Risk of serious harm: If the client poses a risk to themselves or others
- Safeguarding concerns: If abuse, neglect, or exploitation is suspected
- Legal obligation: If required by law or court order
- Consent to share: If the client gives explicit written permission
In such cases, the practitioner will aim to inform the client before disclosure, unless doing so would increase risk.
Clients have the right to:
- Request access to their records
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Raise concerns about confidentiality breaches

- All sessions, workshops, and ceremonies are designed to be culturally sensitive and accessible.
- Facilitators are trained to recognize and challenge unconscious bias and microaggressions.

Zero Tolerance for Discrimination:
- Any form of harassment, exclusion, or discriminatory behaviour will result in immediate review and possible removal from services.
- Clients and staff are encouraged to report concerns confidentiality.
Accessibility:
- We strive to accommodate physical, sensory, and neurodiverse needs.
- Venues and materials are selected with universal design principles in mind.
- Remote or hybrid options may be available for those unable to attend in person.
Safeguarding Policy
Policy Statement:
Inner Psyche.co is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of all clients, especially those who may be vulnerable due to age, disability, mental health, trauma, or life circumstances. We aim to create a safe, respectful, and trauma-aware environment where individuals feel protected from harm, abuse, exploitation, and neglect.
Definitions:
- Safeguarding: Protecting people’s health, wellbeing, and human rights, and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse, and neglect.
- Vulnerable Adult: A person aged 18 or over who may be unable to protect themselves from harm due to mental health, disability, trauma, or life circumstances.
- Abuse: Includes physical, emotional, sexual, financial, and psychological harm, as well as neglect and coercive control.
Confidentiality & Disclosure:
All client information is treated with strict confidentiality. However, confidentiality may be breached if:
- There is a risk of serious harm to the client or others
- There is a legal obligation to report (e.g. safeguarding concern, criminal activity)
Safeguarding & Required Disclosures:
We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and ethically responsible environment for every individual we work with. As part of this commitment, there may be circumstances where we are required to share information with relevant safeguarding bodies or support services. This occurs only when there is a concern about significant harm, risk to self or others, or when an individual requires additional protection or specialist support.
Any disclosure is handled with sensitivity and on a strict need‑to‑know basis. Wherever possible, we will discuss the need for disclosure with the individual involved, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and included in decisions that affect their safety and wellbeing.
